During the winter, tourists can do some shopping at the Rockefeller Center and get a view of the famous tree. Seeing the city lit up for the holidays is a beautiful sight. During the spring, visitors can take their time enjoying the good weather, as see what the city has to offer. In summer, tourists can go to the local beach to take some time out and see Manhattan from a distance. In the fall, the parks are of great beauty as the leaves begin to change color and wilt.
As for accommodations go, the choices in New York are very numerous. New New York hotels ranging from budget options to the end until the ultimate luxury escape. The district decides to stay in also has a significant effect on the price. If you are looking to save a few kilos, look for something unusual. Explore a neighborhood that has fewer tourists and your wallet will thank you.
If this is your first time in New York, is sure to visit Times Square to see where the famous ball drops each New Year. It is a place like no other and has to be seen firsthand. In addition, the financial district is a great place to spend an afternoon. The little cobbled streets full of hidden charm. Then head to the west side and look across the Hudson River to catch a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty. Be sure to take a stroll through Central Park as well. If you would like to do some shopping, while in the city, take a walk down Fifth Avenue or Soho's head. Greenwich Village is also a great place to shop. When tired, sits on a bench and do some people watching in Washington Square Park.
