For residents who already have enough dedication, another way to contribute is easy and rewarding to go and take look. It is likely find many crafts perfect for decoration or everyday day at very reasonable prices, and thus directly support these artists and their work. The artists come from from different parts of Mexico and bring with them a variety of traditions, which means that not only is the same thing over and over again. Artisans are invited on the basis of quality, so the items offered are just first class. Both traditions are passed down through families for centuries, and new artists unique ideas are present, returns to offer variety. The organization responsible for the show requires only that the work must be 100% handmade made from natural materials, and must sell by the craftsman who made it.

Some examples of what you can find are the art of paper and fabric, the potters, the typical "dolls" – Dolls made in the traditional Mexican style with clothes that represent specific styles ares – "theft" or shawls, through the roof, and knives (yes, Handmade in a tradition that has gone through 13 generations!) If you are interested, the artisans will also be happy to explain their work, the creative process and traditions.

The fair also offers an excellent traditional food at very reasonable prices. There is a minimum input of only 50 pesos, anyone who has entered to ensure it's worth. 3 years ago the fair was held in the beautiful gardens of Lake Chapala Yacht Club, accessible in the center of Chapala.

This event is a good example of the spirit of his retirement in Lake Chapala, the culture of cities "combine the rich traditions of the area and other parts of Mexico with opportunities for non-owners of real estate in Mexico to participate and enjoy thoroughly!
